Building Connections, Sharing Knowledge: The Story of the LORENZ docuBridge userGroup
Posted on October 7, 2025
Have you ever found yourself struggling to interpret an agency guideline or looking for the most efficient way to structure a submission? You are not alone and that is exactly why the LORENZ docuBridge userGroup was created.

Back in September 2021, two LORENZ customers, Theo van der Zee and Philip Hall, took the initiative to build a space where users could connect, exchange experiences, and discuss both challenges and best practices with LORENZ docuBridge.
What began as a small peer-to-peer forum quickly grew into a thriving community: today, more than 500 members from around 160 companies take part in the userGroup. The userGroup meetings take place on the second-to-last Tuesday of every month and provide members with the opportunity to discuss day-to-day questions, share helpful workarounds, and hear presentations from LORENZ colleagues on specific features or new developments.
In 2023, the initiative expanded to better serve our global community. A North American userGroup meeting was introduced to address region-specific topics related to FDA and Health Canada submissions and to give members in other time zones, especially those on the U.S. West Coast, a more convenient way to join the discussion. That same year, we also launched a Technical & Business Admin Group, to focus on more complex issues such as installation and system configuration. Any questions not immediately resolved are passed directly to our Support team for follow-up.
Whether you are a new user or a long-time expert, if you are working with docuBridge, this community is for you. The docuBridge userGroup is open to everyone no matter which product version you use or where in the world you are based. Interested in joining?
