What's New in Software Releases

The Submission Repository now includes a dedicated Application Viewer to support the post-publishing QC process. It lets you open and inspect an entire sequence in one place. Choose between Files View for folder-based navigation with per-file properties, or Outline View for XML-based inspection across eCTD v3.2, eCTD v4.0, NeeS, EAU eCTD, and other formats. This includes lifecycle operations, Administrative Information, and eCTD v4.0 Keywords and Documents. Reviewers get a clear, structured look at any sequence exactly as it was published. Available as a separate license.

LORENZ docuBridge now integrates with the LORENZ AI Content Validator in the Submission Workbench, validating eCTD content for accuracy, completeness, compliance, and cross-sequence consistency automatically. Available as a separate license, the LORENZ AI Content Validator fits directly into the workflow you already use.

The Submission Workbench is dramatically faster – large applications and sequences now load in a fraction of time. The gains are most noticeable in high-volume workflows: navigating complex sequences, searching large node sets, and loading document information are all up to 15 times faster than in earlier versions.

No separate installation, no extra configuration. For Japanese eCTD submissions, the integrated LinkAnalyzer automatically identifies hyperlinks pointing to modified documents and enables Force Replace flagging on affected nodes, a compliance requirement that previously had to be handled outside the Workbench. Additionally, docuBridge has integrated a previously separate tool for the import and export of TSV (tab-separated value) files used to store study-related metadata in Japanese submissions. Both features are available as a separate license.

LORENZ docuBridge now supports compiling, publishing, and importing eCTD v4.0 EU applications based on the current draft implementation guide. This enables you to start preparing your processes and submissions for the upcoming EU requirements directly within docuBridge.

Working with eCTD v4.0 applications is now even easier. Two new dialogs simplify many-to-one and one-to-many replace operations, providing a clearer overview and a more intuitive workflow. This update makes life cycle management easier and reduces the complexity previously associated with merge or Node Content Pane operations.

Submission replication is now available in docuBridge webAccess, allowing you to replicate changes made in a source sequence to target sequences in other applications directly in your browser. A redesigned five-step interface provides better guidance, visibility, and control throughout the process, making submission management more efficient and straightforward.

The new Node Content Pane offers a smarter, faster way to work with complex sequences, especially in eCTD 4.0 applications. It supports one-to-many and many-to-one operations, improves performance for nodes with large volumes of life cycle actions, and provides a clearer overview by summarizing repeated replace operations. For a more tailored experience, users can also configure which document attributes are shown.

LORENZ docuBridge webAccess can now be installed and used as an app. It offers the same functionality as the browser version, but without distractions like address bars or browser toolbars. This creates a cleaner, more focused workspace for your daily tasks. The app is supported in Microsoft Edge and Google Chrome.
