We are processing the data that you have sent us in your application documents to determine your suitability for the job opening (or related job openings at our company) and to complete the application process.
The regulatory basis for processing your personal data is §26 BDSG in the legally binding version from 25th of May 2018 onwards. It allows the processing of such data as is necessary to determine whether or not to pursue employment of a candidate.
If required, a processing of data according to article 6 DSGVO may be necessary, especially to pursue valid legal claims according to article 6, 1. This only concerns the enforcement or defence against legal claims.
In the case that an application is unsuccessful, all applicant data will be deleted after 6 months.
We will continue processing your personal data if you have agreed to let us store your data in our applicant pool. If you have agreed to be contacted for future openings, your data will be deleted after 2 years.
If you have are selected for the job opening, your data will be transferred to our personnel data management system.
Your application data is reviewed by our HR department. Applications suitable for the job offering will then be forwarded to the people responsible for the department where the job opening is located. As a general rule, all data is only accessible by the people directly involved in and needed for the hiring process.
The data is processed in data centers in Germany and on servers adhering to the rules set forth by the GDPR (US providers are members of the Privacy Shield).
